The Lastra Aqua Canape Plate is a delightful Italian stoneware plate, wonderful for serving canapes and little appetizers toyour guests. Handformed by master artisans in Tuscany, this canape plate is finished in a pretty aqua blue glaze. Inspired by the overlapping wooden molds used in Italy to create Parmesan and other artisan cheeses, the Lastra Aqua Canape Plate has a slightly overlapping edge and finished with a dusting of brown, which represents the ash that was used to preserve these artisan cheeses.
